Philip J. Cook is the ITT/Terry Sanford Professor of Public Policy Studies, and Professor of Economics and Sociology (Emeritus), at Duke University.  His research ranges widely on topics related to the economics of crime, as well as on health, education, and substance abuse.

Jens Ludwig is the Edwin A. and Betty L. Bergman Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, where he is also director of the Crime Lab and co-director of the Education Lab.  His research focuses on the impact of social programs with particular attention to crime.

Crystal S. Yang

Crystal S. Yang is a Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. Her research focuses on empirical law and economics, with particular focus on issues of criminal justice, such as racial bias and the operation of the bail system, and on consumer bankruptcy.
